like falling out of bed... November 11, 2008 Brent Grazman (St. Louis, MO) The scanner was an absolute pleasure to use....plug it in, look up the code & (for me), reset the code and off you go. It doesn't get any easier than this and at $110 for the dealer to read a code, it pays for itself in the first use.
Worth spending your money November 9, 2008 CHECKENGINE (Hartford,CT) My 01 toyota camry's check engine light suddenly glow one week before emission test. It freak me out, another couple of hundred bucks to spent..I came to know this product..Purchased it and found that problem is in the o2 sensor. Erased the code and passed emission test..I must say if you want to off check engine light and want to pass emission test, buy this product..It's worth spending your money..
Easy to use. Must have if you vehicle is not under warranty November 3, 2008 K. Hunter If your vehicle is not under warranty and you get one of those troublesome check engine lights. You will need to: go to a part store and borrow their scanner, or go to your mechanic and pay him to scan it, or use your own. This is a good tool and a great price and well worth the investment.
Awesome Little Unit October 18, 2008 BD (Oxford, NJ) This little unit comes at a great price for what it can do. It allows me to take a peek at the active or pending codes that any of our cars are showing and then to clear them as necessary. That alone is awesome. It gives me the upper hand when dealing with a mechanic or the dealership. This unit can tell you what the basic code is and with a quick search on the web you have a complete description and a solution. If the solution is easy you just saved a ton of money. If the solution requires a mechanic, at least he will know that you are aware of the problem.
impossible to unplug October 18, 2008 Yunsheng Zheng (West Hollywood, CA United States) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
It got stuck. A tab on the car side connector locks into a square space of this unit. Not worth the trouble.
