Disappointed December 23, 2008 Engineer Guy (Chicago, IL)
These wipers are a huge disappointment. I put them on this summer. Sitting at a stoplight, they do a great job of wiping the windshield. But when you really need them, while driving in the rain, they lift off the windshield at speeds above 40 MPH. Now that it is winter, they freeze up the same or worse than a standard metal frame. I'm not sure what the advantage of these wipers is...save your money and stick with traditional wipers.
Three Season December 20, 2008 Alex R. Crinzi (Buffalo, NY) I purchased these in the spring and they are great. Quiet and worked well. Living in the Buffalo, NY area, it was only a matter of time that they would get tested in winter conditions. The storm yesterday was a perfect test. They immediately froze up and created an uncleared area in the center of my vision. At each traffic light that was red, I would wait until the wiper was up, turn the car off and reach out and bang the blade to clear the ice. It was back to not seeing within 3 minutes. Once I actually had to use an ice scraper to scrape the ice off the blade. I'm going back to traditional winter blades and will use these again in the spring.
Made in China poor quality item November 17, 2008 turkinwisconsin (Milwaukee, WI USA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Made in China poor quality item that does not befit the Robert Bosch brand at all.Not for winter for sure. The origin of the product should be stated at the product page.If I knew it were a MADE-IN-CHINA I would not have bought it.
Holding up real well October 25, 2008 Jay (NY) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These were my first venture into the non standard type of blades, been on my truck for around 6 months so far and still working well, normally by now I'd start seeing streaks from cracks in the rubber on convential blades. I will be purchasing these again when the time comes.
Awesome replacement blade September 17, 2008 chemist 1972 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Bosch wiper blade is the best replacement blade I have ever bought. Easy to install also. Will be buying more in the future when needed.
